Cashier Portal
The Cashier Portal is a simple app for shop cashiers who work at the counter. You use it during your shift to help players with cash deposits and withdrawals.
note
If you are a shop manager, you usually use the Shop Portal to schedule shifts and review reports. The Cashier Portal is only for counter work.
Who uses it
- Shop cashiers during an assigned work shift
- Relief staff covering a scheduled shift
Each cashier belongs to one shop only.
What you can do
Log in
- Sign in with your username, email, or phone number
- Use the device assigned to your shift (usually the shop PC at the counter)
View your shifts
- See upcoming and past shifts on your schedule
- Know which device and time slot you are assigned to
Start a shift
- Open your scheduled shift
- Count and enter opening cash (bills and coins by denomination)
- Shift becomes active — you can now serve players
You cannot process player transactions until opening cash is submitted.
During an active shift
| Action | What it means |
|---|---|
| Deposit | Player gives you cash → their game balance goes up |
| Withdrawal / Redemption | Player cashes out → you give cash, balance goes down |
| Cash drop | Move excess cash from your drawer to the shop safe |
All actions are recorded on your shift with time and amount.
Close a shift
- Count closing cash using blind count — you do not see the expected total first
- Submit your count
- If the amount matches (or is within tolerance), shift closes
- If there is a discrepancy, your shop manager is notified to review
Handover (when applicable)
- Pass cash and notes to the next cashier following shop policy
- Record handover by denomination when your shop uses this process
Screens you will use
| Screen | When |
|---|---|
| Login | Start of work |
| My Shifts | See schedule |

| Cash Drop | Drawer too full |

Important rules
- Cash only at the counter — no card processing in the Cashier Portal
- You only see your own shift — not other cashiers’ work
- You cannot edit or delete a completed transaction — ask your manager
- Large withdrawals may need manager approval before you pay out
- Player does not need a phone code for a simple cash deposit (they are standing at the counter)
If something goes wrong
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Wrong amount entered | Stop — call manager before player leaves |
| Balance did not update | Note player name and time — do not take more cash |
| Cannot start shift | Check you are on the right device; ask manager |
| Shift locked | Ask manager to help close or extend |
What Cashier cannot do
- Create or ban player accounts — shop manager does this in Shop Portal
- Approve your own large withdrawal exceptions — manager approves
- Access other shops or other cashiers’ shifts
- Change past transactions
